Police: Determined girl drives car to meet mother for a popsicle

An eight-year-old girl who was reported missing after she drove her mother's car to a nearby Target store has been found safe. The girl, whose name has not been released, was found inside the store by police officers who were responding to a call about a missing child. The girl's mother, who was also at the store, told police that she had left her daughter in the car for a few minutes while she went inside to get a few things. When she came out, her car and her daughter were gone.

'She's just a very independent little girl'

The girl's mother said that her daughter is a very independent child and that she has been driving the family car since she was five years old. She said that she had never left her daughter alone in the car before, but she thought that she would be okay for a few minutes. The girl's mother said that she is relieved that her daughter is safe and that she is grateful to the police officers who found her.

The police said that the girl was not injured and that she was in good spirits when they found her. The girl told police that she drove to the Target store because she wanted to get a popsicle. The police said that they did not issue the girl a citation for driving without a license, but they did give her a warning.

The girl's mother said that she is glad that her daughter is safe and that she has learned a valuable lesson. She said that she will never leave her daughter alone in the car again.
